Meet Our Provider

Dr. Elizabeth Messenger is a board-certified dermatologist and Shelby Township native who is proud to bring her advanced training and experience back home to the community that shaped her.

Dr. Messenger graduated with honors from the University of Michigan with a degree in neuroscience. She completed her medical education at the University of Pennsylvania on a full-tuition merit scholarship, where she graduated with top of class distinction and was inducted into both the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She then completed her internship at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital and dermatology residency at Stanford University.

She began her career practicing and teaching in academic settings, where she gained experience managing both common and complex dermatologic conditions. She now brings that same level of training and expertise to her patients here in Michigan, with a thoughtful and approachable style of care.

Dr. Messenger is known for her warm demeanor and ability to provide practical, patient-centered care. She takes time to listen, explain, and tailor treatment plans to each patient’s needs.

Outside of work, Dr. Messenger enjoys staying active and spending time with family and friends. She is a proud graduate of Eisenhower High School and also attended Crissman Elementary and Malow Junior High School.
