Elizabeth Messenger, MD
Meet Our Provider
Dr. Elizabeth Messenger is a board-certified dermatologist and Shelby Township native, proud to bring her training and experience back home to the community that shaped her. She provides general and surgical dermatologic care for patients of all ages, with a thoughtful, approachable style built on listening, clear explanation, and treatment plans tailored to each person.
Dr. Messenger graduated with honors from the University of Michigan with a degree in neuroscience. She completed her medical education at the University of Pennsylvania on a full-tuition merit scholarship, where she graduated with top of class distinction and was inducted into both the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She then completed her internship at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital and dermatology residency at Stanford University.
Known for her warm demeanor and practical, patient-centered approach, Dr. Messenger takes the time to listen, explain, and partner with each patient on a plan that fits their needs and goals.
Outside of work, she enjoys staying active and spending time with family and friends. She is a proud graduate of Eisenhower High School and also attended Crissman Elementary and Malow Junior High School.
